Also known as Roodmas, Beltine, Beltene,  Walpurgisnacht, and May Day

Beltane is consider one of the two greatest of the Wiccan festivals, Samhain being the other.  It was considered the begriming of Summer for the Celts. It is the third of the four great Celtic fire festivals.  Herds were driven between two bonfires to ensure their safety and fertility.
