October 31

An ancient Celtic festival that celebrates the beginning of Winter, marked by death, and the the beginning of the Celtic New Year.  Samhain means “end of summer”. This is the last of the three harvest celebrations. The veil between the worlds is at its thinnest, making communications between the living and dead possible.

Pronounced sow-’n to rhyme with “cow”
