After our first Samhain in Tennessee we started planning for a get together up here
of friends, our first was Samhain 2000 and we started on this page SAMHAIN:2000 THINK
TENNESSEE and we started a YahooGroup called Samhain2000, since then that group has
changed to DragonPalmEvents and list our PNO and other Dragon Palm Events along
with events that are local and Pagan in nature. The 2000 event was small but nice
and we hope to do another. If this is the year you want to be with us in Tennessee
let us know. Join the events group to keep up on any information.
NOTE TO PEOPLE COMING FROM FLORIDA: You will be coming into Fall weather - temperatures
at night can get much lower than a Florida Cold Spell. Temperatures can get into
the low 30’s at night. If you are planning on camping bring clothing for this. The
2001 Samhain we had temperatures not going much over 40 and many didn’t show up because
of this. Please let us know if you have told us you are coming and change your mind
at the last minute because of weather. Because of people coming out of town we
will not cancel because of weather.
Past Years:
1997 - Luzon Grove house Covenstead, Lake Worth, FL - around 20 people - with a handfasting
to start the events.
1998 - Luzon Grove house Covenstead, Lake Worth, FL - Over 100 in attendance - band
Dionysos performed.
1999 - Willow Creek Covenstead - Sevierville, very small - our first Samhain in
Tennessee.
2000 - Covenstead - Sevierville - first reunion - small - but with five people form
out of state. About 20 in all.
2001 - North Gatlinburg Park - very cold small turnout.
2002 - Small get together of Coven and friends.
2003 - Small get together of Coven and Friends.
2004 - Small get together of Coven and Friends.
2005 - Small get together of Coven and Friends.
2006 - Small get together of Coven.
2007 - Small get together of Coven and Friends.
2008 - Small get together of Coven and friends.
